Administrative Unit
The Administrative Wing facilitates and overviews research project applications by individual investigators to various funding agencies after harmonizing the budget, staff and their salary, provision of co-investigator(s) etc. Once the project is sanctioned by the funding agency, operative approval/project code number is allotted to the research project. The appointment of the research staff and their further extension, EHS facility, revision of pay, visits within India & abroad for conference/training etc., resignation, no demand, experience certificate etc. are dealt in the administrative wing of the Research Section. Besides this, the administrative wing deals with the RTI cases, court cases, parliament question and other service-related matters.
The Administrative Officer leads the Administrative Unit, working alongside the Junior Administrative Officer and other junior staff members. Together they manage day to day administrative functions crucial for the smooth operation of the research section and administrative execution of the Research Dean’s vision.
