As directed by the Ministry of Finance, GOI, the utilization certificates of the funds received from various government funding agencies for research projects need to be submitted online on the Public Financial Management System (PFMS) for each financial year. To facilitate this process, Research Section has setup a PFMS facilitation desk. There is a PFMS requisition form wherein the PI is required to fill in the requisite details and submit the same to the Accounts Officer, Research Section for entering the details into the PFMS. Based on the information provided by the PI, a GFR form will be generated by the PFMS system.
Subsequent to this, PI is requested to collect the GFR form for their respective projects from Research Section and return the same after due verification and signature back to the Research Section for the final uploading onto the PFMS portal. For each project, a separate PFMS form has to be filled in for each financial year from the year of start of the project.
