Maintenance/disposal of equipment

It is mandatory to register all equipment purchased out of Research project funds in the project stock register by the project investigator. After completion of the concerned research project, the equipment should either be returned to the funding agency or be transferred to the department with the prior approval of the funding agency, by making the requisite entry in the stock register of the department under intimation to the Research Section. If the equipment are not required by the department concerned they should be transferred wherever needed in order to be fully functional with the approval of the funding agency. If equipment is/are not in working condition, condemnation process guided by the existing rules of the Institute must be carried out.
